What Are The Key Technologies Of Satellite Optical Communication

Satellite optical communication technology involves cross research in many fields, with high complexity and difficulty. Related research fields include optics, machinery, signal processing, mathematics and computer. Figure 3 shows a typical system for transmission between satellite optical communication links and the main technologies used for each part of the system. Among them, optical technology includes high-power light source technology, high-quality optical system design technology; Signal processing technology includes modulation and demodulation technology, background noise suppression technology, atmospheric channel influence compensation technology, and high sensitivity detection technology; Mechanical technology includes platform vibration and attitude compensation technology, component space adaptability technology; High precision acquisition, tracking and pointing (ATP) technology, etc.
