Mar 25, 2023|
According to the latest research data from market research company Dell'Oro in Redwood City, California, the sales of global data center switches in the third quarter of 2022 increased by 20% year-on-year, and both the quarterly sales and the total sales in the first three quarters hit record highs.
Dell'Oro also pointed out that from cloud service providers to telecom operators to large enterprises, all market segments are growing, with cloud services accounting for 80% of the total growth. According to geographical division, North America, China and the Asia-Pacific market excluding China all achieved double-digit growth, of which North America accounted for 90% of the total growth. Due to macroeconomic reasons, the markets in Europe and the Middle East and Africa declined this quarter. Divided by product type, the sales of 200Gbps and 400Gbps are close to 2 million ports, accounting for 10% of the total sales and 20% of the total sales. This achievement comes from the demand of large cloud service providers and the improvement of supply chain.
