China Signed A Memorandum Of Cooperation in The Field Of Information And Communication With The Brazilian Ministry Of Communications
Apr 19, 2023| According to news, on April 14, witnessed by President Xi Jinping and Brazilian President Lula, Minister of Industry and Information Technology Jin Zhuanglong met with Brazilian Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation Luciana Santos and Minister of Communications Juscelino respectively. Filho signed the "Memorandum of Understanding on ICT Cooperation between the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation of the Federative Republic of Brazil" and "The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China and the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Information and Communication Industry of the National Telecommunications Authority of the Federal Republic.
It is understood that Brazil's current "new infrastructure construction" represented by 5G, artificial intelligence, industrial Internet, and Internet of Things cannot meet the needs of economic and social development. At present, the Brazilian government has formulated a digital economy development strategy and plan, hoping to make the digital economy a new economic growth point through innovative technologies such as 5G networks, data centers, and artificial intelligence.
